At The Light, we are committed to offering a great cinema experience to everyone.
All of our screens have wheelchair spaces and lift access, as well as an escalator, allowing everyone to easily access all of our screens.
We run regular autism-friendly screenings. These are great if you find the usual cinema experience a bit overwhelming. We turn the sound down, keep the lights on a little bit and nobody minds if you make some noise or need to move around.
Parents are welcome at The Light with our baby-friendly screenings for them and their babies, aged under one year old.
These screenings are only for parents or carers with babies; members of the general public will not be admitted.
Limited unsupervised pram parking is available but we encourage guests to leave prams at home and carry babies for these screenings.
Film screenings in an adapted environment with lights dimmed and sound lowered. Please note that pastoral care is not provided at these events. A friend, family member or carer must also attend.
With thanks to Iceland Foods who have kindly provided refreshments for all customers attending dementia-friendly screenings at all our cinemas.
If you are visually impaired, we offer audio description headsets - ask a member of team to get you one when you arrive.
These are compatible with the majority of films we show.
We have a portable hearing loop system available in the foyer. Please ask a member of our team if you require the use of this kit.
